  • 2-Hour Seminar with Mike Antoniades. This 2-hour seminar will explore running biomechanics and how common movement patterns lead to injury in a case study format.

  • Shoes, overtraining, lack of strength, cadence and foot strike often get blamed for running injuries. But what if most injuries are really caused by poor running technique? If that’s true, what specific movement patterns contribute to specific injuries? Mike will take you through two case studies and analyse the biomechanics of the runner, to answer some of these questions.

  • You will observe the live biomechanical analysis of two runners. We will examine the movement patterns of an elite athlete as well as a recreational runner. The focus of the seminar will be on the analysis, but you will also briefly explore the interventions used to improved efficiency and reduce injury. You will then be able to see the results for each runner by looking at their technique improvements as well injury reduction.
