As a certified Running Technique Coach, you'll have the opportunity to join The Running School network and the knowledge to coach and inspire runners of all abilities.
If you are looking for more in-depth clinical biomechanical analysis and clinical re-education, the Certified Running Technique course is recommended. However, your training from the Running Technique Coach course is a module from the Certified Running Technique Specialist program. So should you decide to progress to the full programme, this module will be deemed complete and you will get a discount on the value of this course.

Assessments
1. Written Assessment: Multiple-choice questionnaire
2. Practical Assessment: Live practical assessment of running and structuring a coaching session. For online learners, this will consist of a video recording.
3. Case Studies: In the form of 5 case studies, consisting of 5 sessions each (25 hours).
Certification
To receive your Running Technique Coach Certification, you are required to attend all training, pass the practical coaching assessment, receive a pass mark on the multiple-choice questionnaire, and receive a pass on your 5 case studies.
To be listed on The Running School website as a Certified Running Technique Coach, an additional 30 hours of coaching hours, in the form of 6 case studies, must be completed and coaching log submitted.
